Since its launch in 2010, The Open Innovation Project (IOIT) has delivered a rich and varied programme of activities which aimed to promote, initiate and support the application of open and collaborative methods and approaches to the development of innovative products and services and problem solving in a practical and inspirational way. It has been delivered by a dynamic partnership of local governments, universities, business support services across the UK, France, Germany, Ireland and Belgium and funded through the Interreg IVB NWE programme. The project is now closing after four successful years.
This event will showcase what has been achieved during the lifetime of the Open Innovation Project; articulate the learning points from the project and provide expert insights into Open Innovation based on practical experiences. It will include stands covering activities; presentations on the journey of the project, testimonials, outcomes and key learning. Importantly, we aim to deliver an upbeat event which will appeal to a wide audience.
