The potential of social media as a means by which small businesses can engage with new and existing customers is growing constantly.
In this workshop at the British Library Business & IP Centre, Neil Infield will introduce delegates to the different types of social media and how to use them most effectively. The platforms covered will include Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIN, YouTube and blogs. He will provide the information which will help delegates to choose the most appropriate platforms through which they can engage with their customers and build sales and brand awareness. This information will form the basis of a social media strategy.
Neil Infield is manager of the British Library Business & IP Centre. Over the past six years Neil has posted over 500 news articles on his blog: 'In Through the Outfield' which have been viewed by over 150,000 people.
This free event will be of interest to entrepreneurs, inventors, innovators, pre-start businesses and anyone interested in social media.
The workshop is held each month at the British Library Business & IP Centre, 96 Euston Road, London NW1 2DB.
