Introducing Crowdsourcing for Business

Crowdsourcing models offer businesses of all types the potential to use external communities and networks to source and test ideas for product and service developments, to build effective partnerships and to develop new business models. This free workshop provided practical guidance on how businesses can make full use of these tools with a focus on innovative uses of the web.

It was led by InnoCentive on 24 January 2013 at the British Library Business & IP Centre. Innocentive employs a challenge-driven methodology and interacts with a community of millions of 'Solvers' via a cloud-based technology platform. The 'Solvers' compete to provide innovative ideas and solutions to important business, social, policy and technical challenges,  Innocentive will share its insights and experiences in an interactive session. It was attended by 24 delegates.
